 In the new entrance to historic Pennsylvania Station, large-scale, site-specific artworks that reflect broadly on notions of past, present, andfuture. In this renovation of the 1912 James A. Farley Post Office, the distinguished sister building to the sadly destroyed original PenStan Douglas has mined the history of the original Penn Station, giving heroic pictorial life to narratives from different moments in time using advanced digital technologies.  An upside-down metropolis by Elmgreen & Dragset radiates from the ceiling. Kehinde Wiley’s illuminated stained glass inspired by classical frescoed ceilings, celebrate break dance.
