This living memorial to the Holocaust is committed to the crucial mission of educating diverse visitors about Jewish life before, during, and after the Holocaust. Holocaust survivors speak through recorded testimony and rich collections to illuminate Jewish history and experience.

Visit the Garden of Stones, a landscape artwork and living memorial garden of trees growing from stone was planted by the renowned artist Andy Goldsworthy., Holocaust survivors, and their families in 2003.

While much of the museum may not be appropriate for sensitive children, Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark was designed to teach ages 9+ about remarkable story of the rescue of the Danish Jews during the Holocaust.

🍽 Enjoy kosher food including different varieties of house-cured salmon, whitefish salad, deviled eggs, borscht, egg salad, grilled cheese, various bagel and cream cheese sandwich options, matzoh babka, blintzes and challah French toast at LOX at Café Bergson.
