This hub for great music, dance and theater added more welcoming indoor and outdoor public space during recent renovations.

🛋️ Visit the Welcome Center at the southeast corner of David Geffen Hall to learn about any special events or displays, plus get tickets for family programs from any of the resident organizations with no service fees.  Lounge on the couches and comfortable club chairs in the adjacent Karen and Richard LeFrak Lobby—Lincoln Center’s “living room.”

📺 A 50-foot digital wall displays visual art commissions and performance livestreams from inside the concert hall.  A retractable garage-type glass door opens up the space to Josie Robertson Plaza in the warmer months.

🧻 Also find free Wi-Fi and spacious bathrooms in David Geffen Hall.

⛲️ Play around the the famous dancing fountain and dramatic Alexander Calder sculptures as well as temporary interactive installations.

📚The Performing Arts Library doesn’t have a children’s section bur often has fun exhibits with costumes and video (plus more bathrooms). Exit through the back of the library on Amsterdam avenue for easy access to the kids section of Riverside Library.

🍽️  Pick up coffee, tea, and pastries at The Coffee Bar in David Geffen Hall. L’art de Gelato stands pop up in the summer. Great bakeries/cafes across Columbus with savory and sweet options include Épicerie Boulud and Rosetta Bakery
