Special holiday doughnuts at legendary Doughnut Plant include a fluffy Christmas tree shaped yeast doughnut with a fresh mint glaze on the outside and chocolate mint pudding on the inside, a Gingerdough Man cake doughnut, Marzipan Star, Coconut Snowman and a pretty Red Velvet.

At Doughnut Plant locations in the Lower East Side Grand Central, Long Island City, Williamsburg and downtown Brooklyn.

Dark Chocolate Peppermint at Levain

The first ever holiday cookie from the home of the legendary chocolate chip cookie (also six ounces) features a dark and rich chocolate dough peppered with gooey chocolate and melty peppermint chips. Three or more cookies come in a giftable box adorned with adorable holiday illustrations (as are the stores).

Mis and match with the the original flavors – Two Chip Chocolate Chip, Walnut Chocolate Chip, Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip & Oatmeal Raisin (plus a gluten-free chocolate chip option). Other options include sour cream coffee cake, brioches, whole wheat walnut raisin rolls are also yummy (and a little healthier) plus hot chocolate and coffee.

Outposts also in Harlem, the UES, NoHo and Williamsburg.

Holidays at Eat Pretty

Christmas goes pink at this adorable coffee shop/restaurant with pretty florals, giant pink teddy bears and stuffed grinches and other festive decor indoors and out. The croissants, eggs, paninis, tacos coffee and more are good, but the seasonal treats are the main draw –  reindeer Mini Cupcakes, cure sugar cookies, Toasted Marshmallow Hot Coco, Eggnog latte , Peppermint mocha, Nutella latte and Gingerbread latte and over-the-top Pretty Hot Cocoas topped with pink whip cream and a gingerbread cookie.

Only two tables indoors with a few more on the sidewalk.

The Grinch & The Rudolph at Mister Dips


Mister Dips features two festive frozen treats in December. The Grinch soft serve cone comes with eggnog custard, holiday sprinkles and wintergreen dip; The Rudolph milkshake has candy cake ice cream and white chocolate.
