Suggested Ages: All
Join Janet Bruesselbach, an artist from A Gathering of the Tribes, a community magazine and previously a gallery space represented in the 2022 Biennial. Janet will lead families through a version of her surrealist art game, Exquisite Poop, originally inspired by the way visitors would describe art to Steve Cannon, founder of A Gathering of the Tribes, who was blind. Work together to turn artworks in the Whitney’s collection into words and then back into pictures again. It’s a fun way to play with communication and the challenge of translating between verbal and visual art.
