Learn how combine words and pictures by parents and children to create a unique keepsake book. Art materials and blank books provided. Brainstorm themes and explore drawing and writing. Everyone is encouraged to bring photocopies of images they find personally important such as photos of family, objects, places. A pair of scissors will also be welcome. See some examples of artists’ books, explore writing and drawing ideas and create together.

Creations will be photographed and Lewis Latimer House Museum will host an exhibition in November about this project. Presented by Tinker Lab.
