Enjoy storytime and nature-inspired art projects in a historic house among gorgeous gardens and trees overlooking the Hudson River. Create brilliant compositions out of bountiful squares of donated fabric inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s visit to the Gee’s Bend Community in rural Alabama, during which the Freedom Quilting Bee was established. Celebrate the Dr. King’s birthday and the inspiring women quilters of Gee’s Bend.
