Enjoy storytime and nature-inspired art projects in a historic house among gorgeous gardens and trees overlooking the Hudson River. Use flower petals and other natural materials to create celestial scenes that capture light on the longest night of the year. Celebrate the balance of night and day by coming together to tell stories and create poetry to welcome winter and invite dormancy, rest and snowy nights. Create a three-dimensional light catcher infused with your own found poetry.

Ages 8+ can create gifts and holiday decorations inspired by the gardens and galleries in Holiday Workshops,

Note the parking lot is under construction, free shuttles from Metro-North’s Riverdale Station, the 242nd Street stop on the #1 subway line, and a free offsite parking lot.
