Explore the stunning former private library of Gilded Age financier Pierpont Morgan, joined with other historic buildings and modern steel-and-glass pavilions. Three magnificent rooms straight out of of the Beast’s castle with wall-to-ceiling books, objets d’art and a high-security vault epitomize America’s Age of Elegance. Look for a secret vault and hidden passages.

See illuminated, literary, and historical manuscripts, early printed books (including some children’s favorites), and old master drawings and prints.  Engaging rotating exhibits explore art and popular culture; go deep into the  beloved book The Little Prince: Taking Flight and see vibrant poem illustrations in Ashley Bryan & Langston Hughes: Sail Away.
