Walk through a 1,200 square foot vivarium with over 500 butterflies of more than 100 different species from countries including Thailand, Brazil, Kenya and Australia.

The lovely plants, flowers and temperatures are tropical so dress in layers. Or get an outside view of the people, plants and butterflies through transparent walls in a hallway with educational illustrations like videos and displays about the protection of butterflies and New York species.

Lobby Lights

Each night of Chanukah, gather in the JCC Lobby (with a virtual, live-streamed option) for Chanukah candle-lighting, led by JCC staff. Kindle the lights of the season and enjoy live music from around the world.

Little New-Yorkers New-York Historical Society Storytime

This weekly program includes the reading of a NY-themed book, related craft project, playtime with historic toys and a special Little New-Yorkers hello song. Past projects have included iphone ‘books’ and construction paper teapots.
