Students from the School of American Ballet – the official school of New York City Ballet – and faculty member Katrina Killian offer a sneak peek inside the classroom to see how students train to become professional ballet dancers. Learn a few steps right from your seats before seeing SAB students perform excerpts from classical ballets including The NutcrackerSwan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty in costume to live music.

This hour-long program concludes with an engaging Q&A with audience members. Learn how ballerinas dance on their toes, how dancers turn without getting dizzy and more.
