Celebrate the diversity of the Irish and Irish American communities of New York at an annual St. Patrick’s Day parade open and welcoming to all who wish to share in the spirit of the day. Community groups, unions, businesses, activists, schools, clubs, artists, musicians and dancers turn the streets of Sunnyside and Woodside green.
All immigrant families and communities in Queens to welcome to join. The theme “cherishing all the children of the nation equally” is taken from the 1916 Easter Proclamation of the Irish Republic.
