The Skyscraper Museum Family Program: Transportation NYC

Saturday, January 20
10:30 am–11:45 am
The Skyscaper Museum
39 Battery Place

Young learners will be introduced to the many different modes of transportation available in large cities today like trains, ferries, and bikes. Through a group reading of Christopher Niemann’s picture book Subway, learn about one form of city transit.
Afterwards, the young planners will then design their favorite way to get around the city. All Ages

Engage with an educator to explore the principles of urbanism, architecture, and engineering through hands-on activities. Surrounded by images, film, and models of past, present, and future skyscrapers, children and their guardians are exposed to the changing exhibitions in the gallery.

$5/child
