Swim in the calm Long Island Sound at two adjacent white sand beaches.
Beach is open 11 am to 6:30 pm; parking $10/car, beach $4/ages 12+, $3/ages 5–11. Play mini-golf for $5/person.
Parking $5–$20/car, beach $10–$20/ages 16+.
Take a short walk to the Read Wildlife Sanctuary with gardens and a butterflies.
Lifeguards on duty. Bathrooms available.
🌭 Concessions available by the beach Eat pizza, salads, burgers and more on a patio or indoors on at The Barley Beach House.
This charming beach-side amusement park, in operation since 1928, has lots of cute rides for little ones and a few roller coasters for those taller and more daring including the historic wooden dragon coaster.
