
Rubin Family Sundays: Treasured Texts

Suggested Ages: 3 to 14+
Inspired by the beautifully illustrated books in the Rubin’s collection, families will express their love of books and literature by crafting their own treasured texts.
Pre-registration is required for either the 1 pm or 2 pm. Free tickets include access to the Museum galleries. Each month explores a new theme, with an art-making activity centered in the interactive Mandala Lab around that theme. A Museum educator will do a brief demonstration of the project and teach the art-making techniques, leaving room for individual creativity.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show
See faithful adaptations of author/illustrator Eric Carle’s Brown Bear, Brown Bear and The Very Hungry Caterpillar featuring fantastical larger-than-life puppets and audience participation.
VIP tickets ($110) include a swag bag, an Eric Carle plush, and a character meet and greet after the performance.
