A large ensemble of musicians make a sonic statement in response to the long- term and current injustices inflicted upon African American people. This creation of trombonist/composer Craig Harris is offered to support the community in staying resilient and persistent in fighting for justice.
NYCRUNS Firecracker 5K & 10K
Race around Governors Island (which was instrumental in American Independence, serving as lookout in the New York Harbor). Take a whirlwind tour of Governors Island including old military outposts, bunkers, and even a Castle with amazing views. Compete for the three awards for ages 9 and under, 10-14 and other age groups.
