Bend, twist, light, sculpt and animate a new version of the holiday season with workshops, demos, artist installations and more focusing on recyclable materials. Build a collaborative city out of cardboard and recycled materials, help artist Oona Stern develop an interactive video installation “Iceline,” watch ill Bywater carve ice sculptures of endangered animals, try holiday meals made of bugs, and join in lots of other eco-friendly activities.

Queens Symphony Orchestra Family Concert: The Mystery of Music

Join Maestro Martin Majkut and the Queens Symphony Orchestra for a highly interactive concert for young people and their families that explores the fundamental elements of the orchestra through Lemony Snicket’s “The Composer is Dead” and more. This concert will be narrated by Queens native Mateo Lizcano, star of Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen.
