From 4- 5 pm, Join Purim for Kids, a Purim party in your own home with special appearances by BOLD Arts dance group, klezmer musicians and more. Featuring music, dancing and a Purim play, performed by kids for kids.
From 5-6 pm, join JCC families for a fantastic Purim celebration for kids of all ages. Get into the holiday spirit and meet fun Purim-themed characters and play original games, including World’s Best Grogger, Who Has the Hamentaschen?, and Speed Shpiel, along with other classic virtual games themed for the holiday. Enjoy a Masks-On Purim Shpiel, an interactive telling of the Megillah Esther for families, featuring singer/actress Daniella Rabbani, MusicTalks Ensemble, and special guests. With song and dance from America all the way to Persia, we will celebrate the Book of Esther, create Purim masks, and participate in an exciting Zoom costume parade.
NYC magician Max Darwin (aka The Amazing Max) teaches magic tricks using objects available at home. All you need is a pencil, quarter, nickel, dollar bill, and deck of cards. Magic experience not required.
Recommended for ages 6+. Private, semi-private and group lessons available.More info
