Learn one of the most essential lessons for life at sea – Knot Tying. Learn about all different kinds of knots, how to tie them and what they are best for by a sailing instructor from North Cove Sailing. Each participant will walk home with a knot tying how-to card and rope for at home practice.

At the waterfront Portside. Light bites and bevs including avocado, burrata and nutella tartines are available for grab-and-go at The Shack by Tartinery (11 am – 9 pm), or get food inside at the Le District or Hudson Eats. Pick up free books from Boat Bar Library.

Immerse yourself in the Colombian rainforest with Winter Garden’s new large-scale sculptural work created by Tatiana Arocha, recipient of the 2022 Brookfield Place New York Annual Arts Commission. Made of hand-made paper, tree branches, reed, fique and wood, the work is representative of the artist’s layered relationship with the ecology of Colombia, her home country.
