See a program of dialogue-free short films and live music about the magic and immersion of play – musical or visual, solitary or collaborative – designed for children of all ages. Augusta Palmer’s award-winning shorts NUGATORY (2013), featuring the interactive artwork of Leo Rabkin, and A IS FOR AYE-AYE: AN ABECEDARIAN ADVENTURE (2015), inspired by the centennial of the New York Public Library’s Picture Collection, will be screened with live scores performed by an ensemble led by CreArtBox’s Guillermo Laporta and Josefina Urraca plus enjoy an original composition and video performance by Guillermo Laporta and world premieres of several new short films directed by Chris Arnold, which have been created especially for world premiere, live performances of music from Greg Karnilaw’s CD, MOMENTS OF SOLITUDE.
