As part of a worldwide event where curbside parking spaces are repurposed as public spaces, see innovative and sometimes interactive dance performances. Ceatures climate and social justice themed performances by Jody Sperling/Time Lapse Dance, Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble, Aviva Geismar and Nicole McClam. Free public workshops for people of all ages and abilities are led by master teachers Daria Fain (Qigong) and Naomi Goldberg/Dances for a Variable Population. The Community Zone provides kid-friendly engagement on urban climate solutions.
Bloomingdale School of Music Annual Performathon
Join the Bloomingdale School of Music community for live non-stop performances, music-themed carnival games, prizes, face-painting, a photo booth,
cotton candy and more in support of Bloomingdale’s mission to provide open access to quality music education.
$10 BBQ includes burgers, hot dogs, chips, side dishes, fruit, & assorted beverages (1 pm- 5 pm)
