Outhouse Orchards

139 Hardscrabble Road
North Salem    + Google Map

$10/parking, $25/bag

This family owned and operated orchard in northern Westchester has lots of apples to pick, gorgeous views, a hay ride, a cute farm shop and a large corn maze. Use the map to find the hidden clues among the stalks to solve a puzzle and learn facts about apples (tip: use the bathroom before you enter the maze).

Pick from a wide selection of pumpkins and gourds in the (vine-free) pumpkin patch and pose by fun Halloween decorations and sunflower patches.

Walk down a small hill to nearby Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard for more of a festival atmosphere (on weekends) with live music, bungee trampolines, and more food options.

Approx. 1 hour drive or or 1 hour 20 minute train ride from mid-Manhattan Two mile taxi ride from the Metro North Harlem Line Croton Falls stop. See train schedules.
