Get to know Brooklyn Bridge Park with monthly educational themes, a 250 gallon aquarium filled with critters from the East River, a 10’ scale model of Brooklyn Bridge Park, crafts, a reading corner, and much more.

Drop-in hours three afternoons a week offer the opportunity for self-led investigation with guidance by expert educators to reveal the hidden stories found within and around the park. Join Nature Storytime Thursdays at 4 pm.

Public Stargazing

Join Amateur Astronomers Association of New York as they set up high-powered telescopes to observe the moon, stars, and distant planets from the Pier 1 promenade in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Brooklyn Bridge Park Playgrounds

This expansive park has great attractions and a gorgeous only-in-NYC view. Explore refurbished piers, most of which host playgrounds (our favorites are at Pier 6 including giant Slide Mountain, Sandbox Village, Swing Valley and the splashy Water Lab). Play in the sand and admire tide pools at Pier 4 Beach (no swimming/wading).

Find a variety of yummy concessions throughout the park and restrooms at Piers 2,5 & 6.
