Oliver Jeffer’s The Moon, the Earth and Us

Friday, February 1–Thursday, February 14
7:00 am–7:00 pm

High Line 14th Street Passage (Tenth Avenue & West 14th Street)

See giant rotating, glowing globes representing the Earth and moon by beloved artist and children’s book author Oliver Jeffers. Inspired by the Earthrise photo-taken 50 years ago during the Apollo 8 mission on December 24, 1968, these sculptures explore the Earth’s relationship with its moon in order to better understand ourselves in relation to one another.

  • Agora Thursday, April 19–Sunday, March 31 7:00 am–10:00 pm
