New York Stock Exchange (11 Wall Street)

The iconic columns of the New York Stock Exchange, lit up red and green, frame a sparkly 78-foot pine tree.  This 95-year tradition started December 24, 1923 when President Coolidge presided over the first national tree lighting, organized to promote the use of electricity and electric Christmas lights as a safe alternative to candles on trees.
