Experience an iconic New York summer experience of listening to free classical and jazz music al fresco with the New York Philharmonic. Go early for good seats and bring a picnic blanket (and a picnic). Program includes Saint-Saëns’ Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah, Jordan Millar’s Boogie Down Uptown, Camryn Cowan’s Harlem Shake, Bernstein’s Three Dance Episodes from On the Town and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. Fireworks follow the performances if you’re still awake.
