Experience classical music in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. All ages (even babies) can crawl, squeal, and dance while everyone enjoys outstanding works performed by Mozart for Munchkins’s co-founders Sara Leila Sherman and Hilary Castle, with Baa Baa Sheep from the Mother Goose Club. Inspired by animals and our natural world, this program features the sounds and temperaments of furry and fuzzy friends, and paints vast portraits of the magnificent natural world in sound. From Saint-Saens “Carnival of the Animals”, a city scape in Gershwin to Vivaldi’s Summer storms, this concert is thoughtfully crafted to engage children of all ages (newborn and up) through storytelling, visualization, movement, special activities and props. Includes interaction with musicians throughout the concert and trying instruments after.
