Watch classic films on a big screen backed by a gorgeous harbor view. Kid-friendly options include Jurassic Park (August 4) and The Mitchells vs. the Machines (August 18).
Lawn doors open at 6pm and the movie begins at sundown (around 8:30pm). Smorgasburg, featuring a selection of NYC’s favorite food vendors, provides tasty treats and drinks all evening along the Pier 1 promenade starting at 5 pm, plus beer and wine concessions available for purchase for adults 21+.
A pre-movie lineup includes a DJ from Brooklyn Radio, and a short film by local filmmakers, selected by BAM Film.
Summer Reading Storytime
Join the Brooklyn Public Library for a rollicking good time listening to stories, singing songs, and enjoying the breeze from the water.

Join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for 2-hr basketball clinics led by KING Hoops, NYC’s premier youth basketball organization. Learn basketball basics as head coaches lead participants through drills and games.

Brooklyn Bridge Park Playgrounds
This expansive park has great attractions and a gorgeous only-in-NYC view. Explore refurbished piers, most of which host playgrounds (our favorites are at Pier 6 including giant Slide Mountain, Sandbox Village, Swing Valley and the splashy Water Lab). Play in the sand and admire tide pools at Pier 4 Beach (no swimming/wading).
Find a variety of yummy concessions throughout the park and restrooms at Piers 2,5 & 6.
