Enter immersive Spatial Environments [Ambiente Spaziale] by innovative Argentine-Italian artist Lucio Fontana (two currently at The Met Breuer and one at The Met Fifth Avenue), created many decades before the instagrammable pop-up craze. Also see Fontana’s Cuts series, slashed paintings that became symbols of the postwar era, and exquisite work in ceramic.
