The Six Foot Platform
Brooklyn-based artists present experimental art and performance on a 6×6 foot platform on photogenic Washington Street. The interactive residencies span artistic disciplines including music, dance, sculpture, performance art, puppetry, painting, poetry and more. Upcoming events include a multimedia photographic installation and durational dance/performative activation and a mix of visual art with live painting and poetry.

Youth Basketball Clinics
Join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for 2-hr basketball clinics led by KING Hoops, NYC’s premier youth basketball organization. Learn basketball basics as head coaches lead participants through drills and games.

Brooklyn Bridge Park Playgrounds
This expansive park has great attractions and a gorgeous only-in-NYC view. Explore refurbished piers, most of which host playgrounds (our favorites are at Pier 6 including giant Slide Mountain, Sandbox Village, Swing Valley and the splashy Water Lab). Play in the sand and admire tide pools at Pier 4 Beach (no swimming/wading).
Find a variety of yummy concessions throughout the park and restrooms at Piers 2,5 & 6.
