This annual three-week-long multicultural music, spoken-word and dance festival kicks off with five-time Grammy Award–winner Lalah Hathaway performing classic songs by her father, the legendary Donny Hathaway. Hosted by Terrance McKnight, this special evening also features The Illustrious Blacks, Baby Rose, The Last Poets, Roosevelt André Credit and the Lappelle Choir, and more guests. Plenty of room to dance and run around by the artisanal food and gelato stands in the back.
