See and hear next-generation practitioners inheriting the city’s soundscape with increasingly New York–formed traditions and stories. Among the featured ensembles are Nuyorican bomba extraordinarios Redobles de Cultura, the intergenerational Sri Lankan Dance Academy of New York, Brooklyn-based klezmer torchbearer Michael Winograd & the Honorable Mentshen and Andean band Inkarayku. Part of a three-week-long multicultural music, spoken-word and dance festival. Plenty of room to dance and run around by the artisanal food and gelato stands in the back.
