A 25-foot-tall cast bronze sculpture ‘The Oracle’ at the entrance to the Channel Gardens serves as the centerpiece of conceptual artist Sanford Biggers’ epic art installation featuring a varied slate of works across Rockefeller Center. Look for elements of an ancient depiction of Zeus with an “Africoid mask-bust figure.”

Flags with blue waves reminiscent of ’70s album art ring the Rink, vitrines hold three small versions of his Chimera sculptures with photo backgrounds and a 125-foot-long mural fills a subterranean passageway with a cloudscape and the repeating words: “Just Us” and several more murals are scattered throughout the complex.

At 48th Street & South Plaza, interact with “Life Forces,” a playful 3D digital simulations of ecosystems as larger-than-life abstract characters mimic your movements. Created by Tin Nguyen and Ed Cutting, the Australian multihyphenates behind the inventive design studio Tin&Ed. Observe your image moving around the virtual habitat—perhaps a meadow, forest, or mountainous terrain—and interact with the landscape by playing with flashing fireflies or making mushrooms grow.

Also visit iconic Rockefeller Center shops & eateries and catch the view at the Top of the Rock.
