Enjoy ice skating, figure skating, curling, hockey and broomball in a covered rink in Prospect Park. Rental skates are brand-new this year. Olympic figure-skating athletes Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukhov direct the Sports Programs for Lakeside’s growing Skate School. Learn-to-Skate and Learn-to-Play-Hockey classes availble for all ages.
Timed tickets are available to purchase up to one week in advance, with limited tickets set aside for on-site purchase.
Light fare and drinks available for takeaway at rinkside Bluestone Cafe.
Prospect Park Zoo
This former menagerie is designed to allow up-close animal viewing, perfect for families with young children who want to learn about wildlife.
