Celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a virtual hands-on kids cooking class. Make homemade spring rolls with Eat Gai, a Thai-inspired food stall at the historic Essex Market.
Learn about traditional paw pia tod from Eat Gai’s head chef and owner — then fill, wrap and fry rolls to crispy perfection. Make a traditional vegetable filling, then get a little creative with a dessert-themed variation.
Class takes place on Zoom; sign up for a free ingredient kit with everything you need to make spring rolls at home (pickup takes place on Friday, May 14th between 3 – 5pm at Essex Market).
