The always-interesting Intrepid gets even more kid-friendly with interactive programming for all ages. Activities include a Pop-Up Planetarium Show led by museum educators, Face Painting NYC, WonderSpark Puppet Making Workshops and performances by the Story Pirates, TheaterWorksUSA: Rosie Revere Engineer, Joshua David Stein and The Band Books and the Brooklyn Music School: Student Ensemble Children. Learn more about STEAM through activities and demonstrations designed to educate and inspire.

This former aircraft carrier has lots of indoor space to play with tons of hands-on displays, but be prepared to traverse the uncovered  deck whatever the weather.

Intrepid Access Family Program

In a monthly program for kids ages 5-17 with learning and developmental disabilities, families take a guided, interactive tour of the Museum and participate in art-making activities that everyone can enjoy. Register online in advance.
