See painting, sculpture and photography by artists from around the world who use light as a medium, challenging visual perceptions. Pakistani-American artist Anila Agha laser cuts elaborate patterns into metal to create immersive large-scale light installations. Inspired by the brilliant glow of neon signs on the streets of Tokyo, New York-based Japanese painter Hiroshi Senju uses fluorescent pigments. London-based photographer Karen Knorr creates sumptuous, layered imagery to transform historic architectural settings in Asia and Western Europe into luminous environments.
Gallery open by appointment Tuesday-Saturday from 12pm-4pm. Book a 30 minute visit at this link.
