Develop hands-on skills by gluing, hammering with help from parents and store associates. Projects change monthly. Receive a certificate of achievement, workshop apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

Hudson River Museum Family Art Workshop

Join Hudson River Museum educators for drop-in art-making in a variety of media. Projects change weekly and relate to a current exhibit or holiday.

Lunar New Year at Hudson River Museum

Kick off the Year of the Rabbit with traditional Asian arts, crafts, demonstrations, and performances for all ages. Celebrate the fourth of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, and, according to Chinese culture, the luckiest animal of all.

This lovely marina in the suburbs has swan sightings, fishing on a pier, crabs & clams and lots of greenspace. Walk and sit on the  small harbor beach when the gate is open ( 7am to dusk); swimming prohibited until summer when the beach is staffed.

Mamaroneck’s popular enclosed public skating facility offers public skating sessions throughout the week October through June.
