Celebrate the opening weekend of GingerBread Lane and the wonders of food with a series of demonstrations about the foods, traditions and science that happens around holiday dinner tables. Each hour of the event brings a different topic and taste – fermentation, cheese making, edible insects and more – for sample and maybe influence your holiday menus.

Queens Symphony Orchestra Family Concert: The Mystery of Music

Join Maestro Martin Majkut and the Queens Symphony Orchestra for a highly interactive concert for young people and their families that explores the fundamental elements of the orchestra through Lemony Snicket’s “The Composer is Dead” and more. This concert will be narrated by Queens native Mateo Lizcano, star of Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen.
