Historical Hallowe’en Featuring The Salem Witch Trials
Oct 30 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Suggested Ages: All
Experience the spooky side of history indoors in the special exhibition The Salem Witch Trials: Reckoning and Reclaiming and outdoors in a tented courtyard.
Take a deep dive into the history of witches and explore the special exhibition. Outside, show off costumes while playing interactive games, listening to stories, making Hallowe’en crafts, and, of course, enjoying lots of candy.
Over 1,000 intricate origami creations decorate this unique tree. The theme of this year’s 13-foot tree is Beautiful Bugs, featuring specially created models inspired by the upcoming Family Insectarium opening later this winter. Also look for paper versions of museum icons like the big blue whale and t-rex.
