Follow the green dots for a socially-distanced stroll on the unique public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. Timed-entry passes required on weekends. On weekdays, the park is open at 7 am –7 pm without reservations.

Enter at Gansevoort Street, 23rd Street, or 30th Street (elevators available), and move north or south Look for lots of nature, art installations & cool design incorporating elements of the original rail line. Watch taxis and pedestrians below at the 10t Avenue overlook.

Elevators available. Masks required. Food vendors and water features are currently closed. Fuel up at with tons of options at nearby Chelsea Market and explore public art in the neighborhood.


Tom Fruin’s Bombora House

Walk through a large, illuminated, stained glass-like house dubbed “Bombora House,” surrounded by smaller “satellite” house-shaped sculptures. Interact with it via text, prompting a unique programmed light reaction. The latest installment of Tom Fruin’s Icon series of everyday objects reimagined and reinterpreted in steel, colored acrylic glass, and specialized lighting.
