The home-turned-museum of Rufus King – Founding Father and early voice in the anti-slavery movement- hosts free family programs the first & third Saturday each month with seasonal themes.

Kick off the season of love with Victorian valentine making using reproductions of historic patterns and ephemera. Mean valentines, known as Vinegar Valentines, were also popular during this period, so broken hearts are welcome.

Also see  artist Rosa Valado’s exhibition, Migrations. Using handmade copper roses, metal and weaving, Valado communicates visually and metaphorically the American Spirit of the 1700’s across the centuries to the present time.
