Investigate how artists use unexpected materials in the exhibitions Going Dark: The Contemporary Figure at the Edge of Visibility and By Way Of: Material and Motion in the Guggenheim Collection. Come to the open house for artistic explorations for all ages, playful story time for younger art lovers, and more technique-focused, sketching and studio sessions for teens highlighting sustainable practices.

Free. Museum admission and activities are included with advance registration; note that space is limited.

2–2:45pm is reserved for visitors with disabilities and their families; 2:45–5 pm is open to all registrants.
