See exciting, well-designed exhibits in the striking Frank Lloyd Wright–designed rotunda of this landmark modern museum.

* So much to see – autonomous robots, oversized collages, hanging haybales, Kermit the frog, a wooly mammoth fossil, digital art and more – in the multimedia rotunda exhibition Countryside, The Future.

* Other highlights include bold works in The Fullness of Color: 1960s Painting, animal-inspired Brancusi sculptures and Impressionist, post-Impressionist, and modern masterpieces including works by Degas, Gauguin, Picasso, Kandinsky and more.

* Look for shapes throughout the nature inspired architectural details – crescent lights, triangle  stairwells, keyhole doors and a gorgeous circular skylight.

* Advanced timed tickets required for entry. Each ticket purchase supports the gift of a family pass to an essential worker.

* Coat check, restaurant and cafe are temporarily closed.

* Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

* Pick up a picnic at the excellent Bluestone Lane cafe in a historic church one block north to eat across the street in Central Park. The destination Ancient Playground is a few blocks south.
