The 15 minute ferry departs from the historic Battery Maritime Building located at 10 South Street, adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry in Lower Manhattan (by the 1 train’s South Ferry Station). Great views from the outdoor decks – the Brooklyn Bridge, downtown skyline, and the of the Statue of Liberty in the distance. Leaves hourly on weekdays, every 20-25 minutes on weekend. Don’t miss the last ferry back (we almost did but a kind security officer in a golf cart gave us a ride).
Free for everyone before noon on weekends. Head to the front before arrival to avoid a wait to depart.
