GATHER: Rituals

Lincoln Center
65th Street & Broadway
New York, NY
Suggested Ages: All, Adult Friendly
Join participatory events with Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, the creator of GATHER, public art installations throughout Lincoln Center. Rituals grounded in Southeast Asian healing rituals, accompanied by live music, change weekly. Share a vision for the future on shades of gold ribbon to be tied around trees, release a floating vessel to carry away burdens, worries, or grief gently into the pool or throw water at a cylindrical tapestry of mixed media and pigment.
