Explore Frida Kahlo’s creative vision and self-crafted identity through a presentation of the artist’s clothing and other personal items, paintings and drawings by the artist, photographs, film and documentation as well as related objects from the museum’s collection. Monkeys, nail polish, film of 1930s Mexico and other fun surprises for the youngest art-admirers. Purchasing timed tickets in advance strongly recommend; a limited number of same-day timed tickets will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis every day at the Museum.


Pierre Cardin: Future Fashion

See bold, futuristic looks of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s in a survey of Pierre Cardin’s decades-long career at the forefront of fashion invention. Explore an immersive environment inspired by Cardin’s unique atelier designs, showrooms, and homes containing over 170 objects drawn from legendary couturie atelier and archive, including historical and contemporary haute couture, prêt-à-porter, trademark accessories, “couture” furniture, lighting, fashion sketches, personal photographs, and excerpts from television, documentaries, and feature films.
