American Folk Art Museum (2 Lincoln Square (Columbus Avenue at 66th Street))
Through guided gallery discussion, learn about different visual storytelling techniques found in the exhibition Vestiges & Verse: Notes from the Newfangled Epic. After drawing inspiration from Swiss artist Aloise Corbaz’s hand-sewn notebooks and large-scale scroll drawing, families will create their own fantastical, collaged murals in the museum’s studio.
Eats & Treats: Stop by Chef Daniel's Épicerie Boulud a few blocks south for delicious house-made charcuterie and a selection of artisanal cheeses, alongside home-made soups, salads, sandwiches, fresh baked breads, pastries and more. We love the sausages, macaroons and gelato.
