Wear your favorite hat (or make a special one) and stroll down traffic-free Fifth Avenue to check out some classic and crazy Easter bonnets and ensembles in a New York City tradition that stretches back to the 1870s. It gets crowded as the day goes on (try to leave strollers at home), but still one of our favorite iconic NYC events. In years past, we’ve joined swing dancing to a live band and a hula hoop show on side streets.

After the parade, stop by Rockefeller Center for food and Easter topiaries.
