Take out free sit-on-top kayaks in protected Hudson River embayments with an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. Brief instruction and all necessary safety equipment provided as well as changing rooms, lockers and locks, bike locks, sun block, and first aid equipment.Reserve online in advance, walk up, or reserve a spot for later in the day. Each slot lasts 20 minutes.One child per boat, guardian must be present if under 13. Babies who can independently hold their body/head up can go in the adult’s lap. Adults must know how to swim.Near mini-golf and and awesome playground on the pier.
